Another Two Track Records at Tech Shootout

LUBBOCK, Texas – Hardin-Simmons' indoor track teams had two more record performances on Saturday at day two of the Texas Tech Shootout meet.

Jessica Eastham improved upon her own Cowgirl 400m record, running a 59.64. Parnelle Shands set the record for the men's 60m with a time of 6.94.

Eastham also led in the women's 200m with a 26.28. She also led the team in the 60m with an 8.06.

Madison Hemenway ran a 5:32.16 in the women's mile to lead the Cowgirls. Hemenway also led the team in the 3k with an 11:32.57 and the 5k with a time of 19.33.63.

Jamie Talley led the Cowgirls wit ha 10.21 in the 60m hurdles. Landon Cole had an 8.75 to lead the Cowboys in the event.

Teddy McIntyre led the Cowboys in the triple jump with 44-6 ½ (13.49m). Malik Pratt led the Cowboys with a 50.79 in the 400m.

Sammy Magallan had a 4:56.80 mile to lead the Cowboys. Eric Monroy led in the 3k with a 9:19.81.

The Cowboy 4x400m relay team of Tanner Wright, Ethan Ramirez, Pratt, and Damonn Harrison ran a 3:22.83.

HSU track will return to Lubbock next week for the Matador Qualifier at Texas Tech.
