Hardin-Simmons senior men’s golfer Luke Smith shot a 76 in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship at Keene Trace Golf Club on the par-72, 7,190-yard Champion Trace Course in Nicholasville, Ky.
LONGVIEW, Texas – Hardin-Simmons’ men’s golf finished second overall in the Pinecrest Invitational with a team score of 622 at the par-71 Pinecrest Country in Longview, five strokes out of first place.
Hardin-Simmons’ Matt Jouett shot an even-par 71 and is tied for fourth-place overall and the HSU men’s golf team is also in fourth place at the Abilene Intercollegiate that is being held at the par-71, 6,996-yard Diamondback Golf Club in Abilene.
